Why am I a pilgrim and what is my purpose for this brief stay on earth?

Hello. I am a Pilgrim. I like to call myself that because that's what I am in this world essentially. If it sounds familiar then you've either heard of or read my inspiration for this name, the book Pilgrim's Progress. As a pilgrim, I am just passing through this world on my way to a perfect world--Heaven. While here, though, I do not sit and wait.

I have a purpose in this life. Unlike so many who looking to themselves find no answer for themselves. I chose to worship God and He gave me purpose. My purpose may seem too simple and lackluster for many who seek power and privilege, but it is the most powerful and privileged purpose known to mankind. It is a purpose that I am convinced has been almost completely stripped of all honor and significance. This purpose, my purpose, is nothing more and nothing less than being an excellent wife and mother.


A homemaker. A lover. A teacher. A friend.

I believe that this is God's BEST for my life and as long as He shows me the way, I will walk in it. I hope that through this introduction you know not my life story but my life's journey. What matters most is not what I've done but where I am going and the path I've chosen to get there.
